Fairfax Auto has been excellent in repairing my car. They have addressed every issue with my car and repaired it at a reasonable price and with a warranty. The staff is excellent and extremely knowledgeable. I own a Fiat 124 and there is 1 Fiat dealerships near me but they are not dependable and no has any knowledge Fiat’s even though they should. So I had to find a reliable and knowledgeable repair shop for the Fiat. This is my go to repair shop now.

I brought in my 11-year old car which had a number of delayed maintenance issues. Kirk was very good in helping me understand the what was needed. We went ahead with a plan which was reasonable in cost. The car runs like new. Great relief. Nice to get the personal service which is often lacking with the bigger commercial outfits

I took my Audi to Fairfax Auto Repair for a free second opinion after another popular independent shop told me I needed tie rods, control arms, and tires. The team at FAR brought me into the shop and showed me there was no play in the suspension, no cracking in the control arms, and that my tires still had plenty of life left. Instead, they found my rear brakes were actually below Virginia safety inspection standards—something the other shop completely missed. I really appreciated their honesty, transparency, and taking the time to explain everything. Rebecca and the entire team made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Customer for life!

I had a great experience at Fairfax Auto Repair. As a woman, I felt completely comfortable and respected throughout the entire process, making it a very female-friendly place to do business. They repaired the control arms on my 2020 Audi A7, and the communication from start to finish was fabulous. Rebecca was especially wonderful—she took the time to understand my timeline and worked with me to make sure I got my car back when I needed it. The team was professional, transparent, and easy to work with. I highly recommend Fairfax Auto Repair for their excellent customer service, quality work, and outstanding communication.

After years of trying different auto shops in the area since moving here in 2018, I can confidently say this was the best experience I’ve had—hands down. From the very beginning, everything was dialed in. Scheduling the appointment online was smooth and straightforward. When I arrived for drop-off, the staff was friendly, professional, and welcoming—no confusion, no waiting around, just a well-run operation. What really stood out was their communication. They provided a full diagnostic with photos of my actual vehicle, clearly showing what they found and explaining their recommendations in a way that made sense. I’ve never experienced this level of diagnostic communication before—I was genuinely impressed. No pressure, no upselling—just honest, transparent service. On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable for the level of service and quality they provide. This is what a modern, customer-focused auto repair experience should look like. I’ve finally found a mechanic I can trust, and that’s not something I say lightly. Highly recommend.
